Looming Shadows and Strange Lights
A friend I barely knew died last night.
A community grieves and I cannot truly join them.
What am I to say.
I knew only a fragment of an individual.
It still hurts anyway.
Chances once present, now forever gone.
Accidents suffer the world terrible fates.
